Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy was a very strong and scary hurricane. It affected my friends, my family, and it also affected me. I lost power for about 3 days and i just did not know what to do with my self. I was so bored and thought i was going to kill my self because there was NOTHING TO DO. But sandy did not affect my house that bad. I only lost power i did not have any damage done to my house on the outside. In the end is was safe my friends were safe and my friends were safe.

El Velador

This short film El Velador has a very strong impact on Culiacon, Mexico. As well on the countrys drug lords and how the town is defined by violence. Also shows the rapidly expanding cemetery that has become the burial ground choice for the country's strongest drug lords. I feel like the director showed great directing skills even though she was showing destroyed and vulgar settings. The film basically is a nonviolent film but it is about a lot of violence. But to me i really enjoyed the film the directing was great and even thought the scenes werent pretty, everything looked good. And the story pulls you in because its about something you never really here of around in new jersey.
